Delta Bingo celebrated a milestone achievement on October 31st, presenting a cheque for $2.5 million to its local charity partners during a special ceremony held at Delta Bingo in Oakville. The event brought together charity representatives and community leaders to recognize the collective impact of charitable gaming in the Oakville community.

The event was attended by Oakville Member of Provincial Parliament, Stephen Crawford, who spoke about the powerful impact of charitable gaming on the local community. He also presented an official award to the Delta Bingo Oakville team in recognition of their outstanding dedication to community service.

Community Impact
Funds raised through charitable gaming at Delta Bingo Oakville directly support local organizations that provide vital programs and services across the Region.
In attendance was Delta Bingo charity partner, The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families, which offers free grief support to children, youth, and their families after the death of a loved one. They create a safe space for healing and connection when it’s needed most.
Also in attendance was Civitan Club of Oakville, a non-profit volunteer organization that serves the community. Civitan Club of Oakville helps fund various local initiatives with a primary focus on those with developmental disabilities.

Together, these and so many other organizations partnered with Delta Bingo Oakville continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
As the cheque was handed over, Richard Schwar, Executive Director at the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association, reflected on the significance of the event. He emphasized that every game played at Delta Bingo helps strengthen the fabric of the local community.
“The support from Delta Bingo Oakville hits every corner of the Region. From food banks and housing programs to education, the arts, and religions organizations, these funds help strengthen the vital services that many Ontarians rely on every day.”
