In 2024, Special Olympics Sudbury raised an incredible $15,612 through their partnership with Delta Bingo & Gaming in Sudbury.
Here’s what they had to say about the impact of these funds:
“These monies help us to offer sport programs to our community members with an intellectual disability. Sudbury offers 20 sports programs throughout the year, including Winter, Spring and Summer sports. Our members get the chance to showcase their abilities and achievements through sports competitions, tournaments, provincial, national and worldwide games. These monies raised help us subsidize the cost of transportation, accommodations, meals, uniforms, and equipment. MERCI THANK YOU for being part of the movement who improves the lives of our athletes—physically, mentally, and socially.”
Special Olympics is a grassroots organization that brings programming and sports opportunities to thousands of Ontario children, youth and adults.
