Supporting Tiny Township Lions Club’s Many Causes

The Tiny Township Lions Club is one of the 55 charitable groups that raises monies at Delta Boardwalk Gaming Centre Penetaguishene.  The Tiny Township Lions Club is involved with and supports many worthwhile causes in the local community, including donating 25K to the Georgian Bay Hospital.  Over the years, the Tiny Township Lions Club has donated to Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre; We Are The Villagers whose mission is to help families and their children participate in extracurricular activities that are of interest to them; the Lion’s Foundation Guide Dog Walk – a national fundraising walk, organized by local volunteers and supported by the Lions Foundation of Canada, to help raise funds to train Dog Guides for Canadians with disabilities; and, the Alzheimer Society.  They also support the Lions Club Leo Club Program that is aimed at giving young people the opportunity to service their communities; make a positive impact; develop valuable leadership skills; and, having fun and making friends along the way.  The local Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Parade are also supported by the Tiny Township Lions Club.
