Supporting the Red Cross Renfrew County Branch

The Renfrew County Branch of the Canadian Red Cross has a Personal Support Disaster Assistance Program which assists the residents of Renfrew County after a disaster. This 24/7 service provides support for all of the Renfrew County area affected by disaster emergencies, big or small. Local Disaster Management volunteers assist individuals and families that have been displaced by natural disasters or fires. In the aftermath of a disaster, volunteers provide immediate  basic needs for up to 72 hours by providing shelter, clothing, food, first aid and emotional support.  The Renfrew County Branch of the Red Cross has been involved in raising monies through bingo for 21 years, including 3 years under the cGaming model at Delta Boardwalk Gaming Centre Pembroke. Since 2013, $26,717 has been raised to support the Disaster Assistance Program.
