Delta Peterborough supports local community initiatives

The Kawartha Metis & Non Status Indian Association has been raising money through cGaming at Delta Peterborough for 15 years. Every year, this partnership provides $19,000 to the Association’s community centre in Burleigh Falls. This money is used to run programs such as:  Cultural learning & healing, rice harvesting, Anishnaabemowin language classes, dreamcatcher making,  traditional native cooking and drum teachings. Funds raised also go toward social events for the community, such as the community Fish Fry, Prep & Feast, Hominy Corn teaching and prep, Social Wellness & Awarness Programs, Petroglyphs community outings, homeless dinners and community gathering & gardening.

The monies raised through cGaming are the only source of revenue for this community. Delta Peterborough is proud of this partnership and everything cGaming has done for the Association.
