Delta Bingo & Gaming Patrons and Staff Raised $5,000 to Support the Carleton Village School Nutrition Program

Patrons and staff of Delta Bingo & Gaming St. Clair were pleased to present a cheque for $5,000.00 to help support the nutrition program at Carleton Village

Delta Bingo & Gaming St.Clair donates $5000 to Carleton Village Nutrition Program.

Junior and Senior Sports & Wellness Academy.

The Carleton Village Nutrition Program at the elementary school which serves students from junior kindergarten to grade 8, helps to provide a healthy snack for the 300 students daily – they are also provided the opportunity to purchase an inexpensive nutritious lunch from the school cafeteria. Currently the Nutrition Program is suffering from a funding shortfall as current donations and grants do not cover the cost of this important initiative.

“The staff and patrons here at Delta Bingo St. Clair know the value of community programs such as this Carleton Village Nutrition Program.  We thank our customers and staff for providing some much needed assistance to this important program that helps kids in our community” said Cam Johnstone, President of Delta Bingo and Gaming.

Delta Bingo & Gaming patrons donated money through BBQs, draws and general donations, and the staff donated a portion of their income through a weekly dress down days.
