Charitable Gaming brings patient care improvements to Georgian Bay General Hospital

CHARITABLE GAMING BRINGS PATIENT CARE IMPROVEMENTS TO GEORGIAN BAY GENERAL HOSPITALThe Lions Club of Penetanguishene, a valued charity partner of Boardwalk Gaming, donated $10,000 to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation on Monday, April 10th 2017. Funds were raised through charitable gaming efforts at Boardwalk Gaming Centre Penetang.

The Money is earmarked for the Emergency Room Department at GBGH and will go towards projects that will improve patient care. One such project is the construction of an ambulance garage that ensures patients are covered when being transferred.

Lois Lipton, President of the GBGH Foundation, and David Turner, Vice President of the Foundation, were present at Boardwalk Gaming Centre Penetang to accept the cheque from the President of the Lions Club, Toni Juneau.
