Commercial Cleaner / Handy Person

Delta Pickering is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable team player who goes the extra mile to support customers and staff. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and performing light repairs. The successful candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends.

• Follow the commercial cleaning checklist to complete tasks to the required standards.
• Common tasks include:
  1. Dust furniture, equipment, walls, and partitions.
  2. Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, and microwaves.
  3. Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.
  4. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  5. Empty trash and recycling bins.
  6. Wipe down walls, doors, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Report any safety or maintenance concerns in the comments section of the checklist.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks to standard, and handle special requests as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines for tasks, products, and incident reporting.
• Perform snow removal at entrances as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as outlined by the Operations Manager.

• Obtain and maintain a valid AGCO gaming license (background check required)

• Ability to use power tools and commercial maintenance machinery
• Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift and move objects up to and including 50lbs, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
• Ability to climeb ladders and do minor repairs to the building as needed.
• Able to work outside in the summer and winter.

• Knowledge of Gaming/Bingo an asset.
• Experience in a cleaning service for a commercial space
• Certifications: Health & Safety/First Aid
