ST. PATRICK’S SHAMROCK CLUB FUNDS NEW CHURCH TABERNACLE

In the presence of over 150 church parishioners, the St. Patrick’s Shamrock Club members presented a promissory note to Fr. Richard Kowalchuk, pastor of the Port Dalhousie Star of the Sea church in St. Catharines, Ontario that will pay for the new tabernacle! The cost for this is $7,454.70. The other most recent donations to this church include: $4,098.51 for the belfry door repair and choir loft flexi-glass installation, and $9,848.00 for the bell tower metal roofing and lighting of the cross. The total of the above-mentioned donations totaled $21,401.21. The Club is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that raises money by sponsoring Bingo events at Delta Bingo & Gaming St. Catharines year-round. All proceeds go toward the structural maintenance and improvement of this church. All club members are volunteers.
