{"id":19166,"date":"2020-02-26T14:24:52","date_gmt":"2020-02-26T14:24:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deltabingo.flywheelsites.com\/?p=19166"},"modified":"2024-11-11T08:08:41","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T13:08:41","slug":"delta-pickering-celebrates-13-2-million-milestone-for-charitable-gaming","status":"publish","type":"charity","link":"https:\/\/deltabingo.com\/fr\/charity\/delta-pickering-celebrates-13-2-million-milestone-for-charitable-gaming\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta Pickering Celebrates $13.2 Million Milestone for Charitable Gaming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 21, 2020, Delta Bingo Pickering, along with the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association, celebrated over $13 million raised for the 62 local charities that partner with the gaming centre, supporting a range of community initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRaising $13.2 million to benefit local charities and non-profit organizations in our community is a tremendous achievement,\u201d said Peter Bethlenfalvy, MPP for Pickering-Uxbridge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/deltabingo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/DSC04612-min-scaled-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-19168 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/deltabingo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/DSC04612-min-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Delta Pickering Celebrates $13.2 Million Milestone for Charitable Gaming\" width=\"586\" height=\"391\" \/><\/a>Ontario\u2019s Charitable Bingo and Gaming Revitalization initiative launched at Delta Pickering 15 years ago. This program is delivered through a partnership between Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), the Commercial Gaming Association of Ontario (CGAO), local charities and gaming and bingo centre operators.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The City of Pickering is very proud of its community partnership with Delta Bingo and Gaming, Ontario Lottery and Gaming and the 62 charities and not-for-profits that have contributed $13.2 million for important programs and services in our city,\u201d said Mayor Dave Ryan. \u201cDue to the significant efforts of the many volunteers, all of these funds remain in our community and benefit the residents of Pickering and surrounding area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/deltabingo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Community-w-cheque-min-scaled-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-19167 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/deltabingo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Community-w-cheque-min-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Delta Pickering Celebrates $13.2 Million Milestone for Charitable Gaming\" width=\"663\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In total, 32 Charitable Gaming Centres across the province have raised more than $274 million for local charities in their communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":19167,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"class_list":["post-19166","charity","type-charity","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Delta Pickering Celebrates $13.2 Million Milestone for Charitable Gaming | Delta Bingo &amp;
