Delta Bingo<\/span> celebrated a milestone achievement on October 31<\/span><\/span>st<\/span><\/span>, presenting a cheque for <\/span><\/span>$2.<\/span>5<\/span> million<\/span><\/span> to its local charity partners during a special ceremony held at <\/span><\/span>Delta Bingo <\/span>in <\/span>Oakville.<\/span><\/span> The event brought together <\/span>charity <\/span>representatives and<\/span> community leaders<\/span> to recognize the collective impact of charitable gaming <\/span>i<\/span>n the Oakville community.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was attended by <\/span><\/span>Oakville Member of Provincial Parliament<\/span>,<\/span> Stephen Crawford<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, who spoke about the powerful impact of charitable gaming on the local community. He also presented an official award to the Delta Bingo Oakville team in recognition <\/span>of their outstanding dedication to community service.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Community Impact<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Funds raised through charitable gaming at Delta Bingo Oakville directly support local organizations that provide vital programs and services across the Region.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In attendance was Delta Bingo charity partner, <\/span>The<\/span><\/b> Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families,<\/span><\/b> which offers free grief support to children, youth, and their families after the death of a loved one. They create a safe space for healing and connection when it\u2019s needed most.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also in attendance was <\/span>Civitan Club of Oakville, <\/span><\/b>a<\/span> non-profit volunteer organization that serves the community. Civitan Club of Oakville helps fund various local initiatives with a primary focus on<\/span> those with developmental disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, these and so many other organizations partnered with Delta Bingo Oakville continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the cheque was handed over, <\/span>Richard Schwar, Executive Director at the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association,<\/span><\/b> reflected on the significance of the event. He emphasized that every game played at Delta Bingo helps strengthen the fabric of the local community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
