Charitable Gaming Gives Millions to the Citizens of Penetang
On Monday, October 24th, Boardwalk Gaming Centre Penetang hosted the official celebration for the $2.5 million raised for local charities through the site’s charitable gaming initiative. Hundreds were in attendance including staff, patrons and charity volunteers. Representatives from the OLG, the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association and Penetanguishene Mayor, Gerry Marshall spoke to the crowd, thanking staff, patrons and participating charities for the crucial role they played in this milestone. The incredible effort put forth daily by all involved is the reason we have raised such a significant amount for the citizens of Penetang.
