Celebrating 24 years Donating Christmas Turkeys!

Delta Bingo & Gaming Charities Celebrate 24 Years Donating Turkeys to Sudbury Families at Christmas!

This Christmas marks the 24th year that Delta Bingo and Gaming Charities’ Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury has donated turkeys to Greater Sudbury families. The campaign, which represents approximately $250,000 in donations, was started by Bingo One/Delta Bingo & Gaming Founder, Ray Loiselle in 1996. Loiselle and Delta’s member charities partnered with Sudbury Charities Foundation, ACT/UCT Sudbury to bring turkeys to the dinner table for 1,200 families at Christmas.

With recent demand increasing, Club Richelieu de Sudbury jumped on board to provide extra funding to support this important initiative.

“It is campaigns like this one that help make the holidays a little brighter for families in Greater Sudbury”, says Richard Schwar, Charity Association Coordinator. “We are honoured to continue the legacy that Ray Loiselle started many years ago and bring the spirit of Christmas to the community”. Revenue raised through gaming at Delta Bingo & Gaming Sudbury, by Sudbury Charities Foundation, ACT/UCT Sudbury and Club Richelieu Sudbury, ensure this program continues each year.

Delta Bingo Sudbury (previously Bingo One) has been serving the Sudbury community since 1984 and has raised over $50 million for local charities.
